He always seems to find something new to fix and make better in the home and many Saturday mornings you can hear him clanging away in the garage on yet another DIY project. Because there’s no way he’s paying someone else to do something he can do better, right? Right.
The Home Depot has become like a second home to me after my husband and I bought our first home a few years ago. ย Prior to my recently discovered love for DIY Projects, it use to be considered a place of sheer monotony.
It wasn’t until I began helping my husband out on small projects around the house and becoming a home owner that I realized how fulfilling it was to complete something for your humble abode… all on your very own!
It saves you tons of money too.
Have you seen my Bathroom DIY’s I completed this past summer with The Home Depot?
That was a lot of fun! A tad intimidating at first since I’ve never ripped a vanity off (or anything off a wall for that matter) and of course, I wanted to do the best job possible.
I can’t think of a better thing to gift that “handyman/woman” on your list that enjoys DIY than the gift of “More Saving; More Doing.”
The Home Depot offers gift cards if you fancy that or an array of awesome products at reasonable prices.
Two products that would make them happy are the HUSKY ย 18″ Rolling Tool Tote and the HUSKY 111-Piece Mechanics Tool Set.

  1. As we bought a century old house we have lots of DIY projects to do. Our next DIY project is the bathroom-it’s totally outdated so it will be really nice to get in done ! (Jan Dempsey)

  2. I have been meaning to make myself a headboard (just moved to a new city, and my bed has no headboard! lol). Thanks to pinterest for that idea.. I would have never thought…

  3. I almost always have a DIY on the go. Right now it’s my bathroom. It is Soooo stuck in the 80’s (1989 to be exact). it has this pukey blue tile, and horrible lino flooring with the same pukey blue throughout… would really like to strip it all down and start over.

  4. We moved into our first house this summer. Still so many projects. Top priority for us is fixing the garage door and expanding our super-narrow, super-steep driveway! YIKES!

  5. My next DIY Project is molding in my house , it hasn’t been put back since we redone the living room 6 years ago , its time to go back up if i have to do it myself lol i have been after hubby that long , i would love to have my own tools , i can never find anything in the Barn ugh !

  6. I’m not sure what my next DIY project will be. I’d love to know how to build my own house….now who wants to donate some land and building supplies? Lol
