One of the things I love about being a SAHM, is not missing the littlest moments, like your little one carrying her bucket and shovels to the park in excitement, digging up the sand and filling the bucket and trying very carefully to turn it over and remove it to reveal a small little castle.
My Ava is not only full of energy, creative and smart, she also has such a big heart. At only 2 1/2 years old, she understands empathy, forgiveness, love.
She teaches me everyday how to be humble and forgiving. Because let’s face it, those are tough things for us adults these days. She is always the first to apologize when she notices mommy or daddy (or anyone else) is upset at something she did. That warms my heart.
She seems to be a social butterfly too because she’s not shy and likes to make new friends. And she makes them easily too. She’s magnetic.
And I’m not just saying this because she’s my daughter, these are what I observed about her and that make me so very proud. I’m excited to see what God has in store for her and the beautiful woman she will grow to become.
