Truth be told, I am a food snob.
I avoid chain restaurants when I can and much prefer to indulge in epicurean creativeness in unique settings boasting tons of character.
However I must admit, I do enjoy Red Lobster. And not for the seafood.
I just can’t get enough of those fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits. Mmmm…
have you tried them before?
I have been making this same recipe for years now after playing around with a few ingredients lying around in my kitchen (and thanks to a cheddar biscuit craving), and my family and I love it!
It’s fool-proof and so easy and quick to make, always turning out super yummy.
Make sure to eat then right out of the oven, once that melted garlicky butter hits it… the best!
Quick & Easy Cheddar Bay Biscuit
- 2 cups Bisquick biscuit mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) *I love Armstrong Cheddar!*
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat oven to 450 degree.
Mix biscuit mix, milk, and cheddar cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley; brush generously over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.
Serve warm. Make 10-12 biscuits.
