Who would love to save some extra dollars this holiday season? *hands way up*
It’s no surprise that our bank accounts and wallets are getting hit hard every holiday season — we’ve already come to expect it no matter how much we try to budget.
Even though we want to look at the positive behind all the spending — spreading holiday cheer with gifts for loved ones and those in need, food to fill the tables and tummies of those we gather with and to provide for food banks, the beautiful abundance of Christmas lights we have inside and out of the home — it’s not very easy when we start seeing those numbers decrease, coupled with the rush and sometimes headaches that come with shopping.
You know that as much as I love this time of year it can be stressful and admittedly, a lot of it has to do with all the spending.
Saving money, even if just a couple dollars here and there makes a world of a difference!
Have you Flipped yet?

I recently discovered the Flipp App a few months ago and it has honestly been a true lifesaver when it comes to finding great deals for groceries and gifts.
Walmart is the store I frequent for true savings but how awesome is it when I can save more on already good prices? Yes!

Every Christmas, my family tradition is to do potluck and usually serve up a lot of appetizers.
I stocked up recently to get all my ingredients and frozen foods ready at Walmart in advance and used the Flipp App to help me #Flipp4Holidays!

If you’ve not used the Flipp App before, it’s easy.

  • Tap on a Flyer to view
  • Hold down an item of interest to get a full, detailed view and description of the item
  • Tap on the item from the flyer to “clip” (it will be circled in yellow) and it is then automatically added to your clippings
  • Shop and Save!

Great thing is that it also mentions which clippings are expiring soon so you don’t miss anything.

This was so helpful for me during this shopping trip, particularly during this time of year when I’ve pretty much almost depleted my spending budget after all the gifts have been bought.

Loving these round place mats and dinnerware from hometrends at Walmart I was able to add to my purchase thanks to what I’ve saved!

I saved $30 dollars on my total balance at Walmart, which to me, is exceptional!
I would not have known of these savings had I not had this app handy even though I get paper flyers at my doorstep often because I don’t have the time to sit down and sift through them all. Who has that time nowadays? Plus, let’s save a few trees!
I have my smartphone on me all the time so what a great addition to my app family.
