Tucked away in the ravines of Sawmill Valley Creek in Mississauga you’ll find a beautiful tudor-style mansion, a hidden gem only half an hour away from Toronto, prepped and ready to indulge your senses and offer a place of comfort and pampering.
Whether you’re looking for a beautiful venue to hold your special event, a romantic getaway or a night out with the girls, the Glenerin Inn & Spa should certainly be on your radar.
A member of Ontario’s Finest, the Glenerin Inn & Spa offers modern resort amenities including 30 guest rooms and suites, onsite dining, full service spa and five private event and meeting spaces perfect for private parties, weddings, meetings and corporate events and can accommodate groups from two to 500 guests.
I’m not sure what took me so long to learn of Glenerin Inn & Spa especially considering its convenient location within the GTA but I know that this will certainly not be my last time here. Recently I experienced a Girl’s/Mom’s Night Out at Glenerin Inn & Spa and had the most wonderful & relaxing stay. Upon entering the Inn, I was taken aback at how beautiful it was — the interior showcases the property’s original period features; grand stone fireplaces, exposed ceiling beams, 1940s stained glass, and oversized paned windows.
Stunning, isn’t it? Every corner and crevice was lovely and despite it’s elegance, it was very charming and intimate; the staff far from pretentious. In fact, I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience with the staff at Glenerin Inn & Spa. From the front desk, to room service to the spa therapists, every one was a delight to deal with; striving to make their guests feel gratified and tranquil was evident in the customer service.
The Luxury suite was immaculate; clean & welcoming. Included was two queen beds, a sitting area complete with LCD TV (plus Apple TV!), a desk with coffee machine and small fridge and a clean bathroom with standup shower.
Who could use some pampering? The Spa at Glenerin was serene, sedating and definitely much needed. I had a wonderful oxygenating facial where I was also educated on ways to care for my skin at home (which was super helpful!) plus an aromatherapy manicure and pedicure including a refreshing beverage. There was no doubt the spa therapists and aestheticians were extremely knowledgeable; I learned a great deal about my own skin and on top of that, they truly listened to my needs and ensured I was comfortable the entire time.
And if all this wasn’t perfect enough, I cannot stop raving about the delicious food offered at the Glenerin Inn. Their cobb salad is a must-try and I really enjoyed a scenic dinner on the patio accompanied with the soothing sounds of Taylor Made Music. You can view a live recording on my Instagram here.
Every Thursday in the summer, they offer their Thursday Night BBQ on Evans Patio complete with talented, local musicians.
It was an exceptional experience and one that has left a positive imprint. There were no negative checkpoints with the exception of a couple of forgotten housekeeping requests (that were minor).
Thank you kindly to the wonderful staff at Glenerin Inn & Spa for the top-notch service and excellent stay we had. I am booking another one in the very near future and I encourage you to experience it for yourself as well. You can learn more and check out their amazing packages at http://www.glenerininn.com.
