  1. My Mom has always been a mentor. She never let “because” she was a woman hold her back in a time when many were, in an industry that was mostly male. She showed us we could be whatever we wanted to be.

  2. My mom is special to me because she has always taken care of me, as a child and as an adult. She stayed at home running a day care so she could be around for us whenever we needed her. Since having a child of my own she has taken care of him and been the best grandma ever too

  3. She always knows what I’m feeling before I even tell her. She checks up on me constantly even though I’m an adult now but I appreciate it. Without asking, she brings me her homecooked dishes at always the right time including her famous chocolate cake.
Works hard and loves her children unconditionally.

  4. My mom is the ultimate “Mama Bear.” If you mess with one of her cubs, she will mess with you. She is always there to defend, fight and help her children. She is selfless, loving, forgiving and sometimes the only person I need around me. She is the best Nana my niece and nephews could ask for and just wants them around her all of the time. She is a hard worker and deserves more vacation than she gets.

  5. Coming from Italy with zero money in her pockets, she and my father started from the bottom to the top to make the best life for my sisters and I.
My mom worked long hours, manual labor and watching her kids while trying to save money to take 4 girls to university AND live her dreams of opening her own restaurant – which she did!
Proud of her and love her dearly!

  6. I was adopted and was raised by my aunt who I consider my 2nd Mom. She took me and my sister in after my mom and dad passed away when we were little in a tragic car accident.
I still remember my mom’s smile and for some reason her voice as she use to sing to me often when I was a baby. Oddly enough, my aunt is a spitting image of my mom and she sounds just like her too. She sang us a new lullaby growing up and also walked me and my sister down the aisle when we got married. She was there when my sister had her first child and will be there for mine.
She talks about my mom often so that we don’t forget and cried with us when we remembered.
She is also my Mom and I would love to show her my appreciation by giving her one of these gorgeous necklaces. Thank you for the opportunity!

  7. My mom is so special to me because she is always there for me. She supports me and my brother without reservation and puts us ahead of herself. Even though we live in different countries, she is always doing little things to let me know that she is thinking of me and that she is only a phone call away if I ever needed her. Simply put, my mom rocks! (Soph Y)

  8. My Mom has always been there to help me and my family, she’s loving and so patient, there isn’t a day that goes by without a phone call from her, she is amazing

  10. My mom is so special because she supports my brother and I even in he tough times. She has done so much for us and not enough for herself! Mom rocks!

  11. My mum has done everything in her power to raise us to know we are loved, and to be happy, well-adjusted individuals.. all the while a single mum, isolated in the Yukon, with not much money. I think she did a stellar job, and I have a fantastic relationship with her today.

  12. My mom raised me as a single mother while in the nursing program. She successfully graduated and was diagnosed with cancer a few years later. Through out all of this time she has made sure I was provided for and comfortable. She still does, even though I am all grown up.

  15. Every reason for my successes, happiness and who I am today is all thanks to my mom.
She’s a lady with integrity and she makes a killer apple pie!
A fantastic mom and a loving grandma now. She still caters to her children and would give up everything in a heartbeat for us. Now you got me all weepy thinking about her.
She lives across the pond (in London, England) and I don’t see her as much as I want although she’s just a phone call away. She’ll be visiting us in the next few weeks and I would love to win this for her.
Thanks for the great giveaway and for such a great question.

  16. There are not enough words to tell you why my mom is so special to me.
She’s sacrificed so much for me and my sister and she did it all on her own. We lost my father when I was only 6 years old.
She teaches us everyday what hard work, unconditional love and humbleness is all about.
    So grateful for her!

  17. Ooops. Did read the question before posting my last comment!
My mom is so incredibly special. She has always put my sister and I first. She is selfless and beautiful in and out. These days she helps me with my kiddos every chance she gets. She’s the best.

  18. My mom had to raise us on her own after my father died in a car accident when I was 8 years old. She encouraged us to pursue post-secondary education since she had never had the opportunity to do so. She passed on her strong morals and work ethic and built up our self confidence. She always supported us in everything we did and I miss her like crazy even though she has been gone for 12 years now.

  19. My Mother raised me and my sister with absolutely no help from anyone. Single Mom back in the day when Single parents were rare. My Parents divorced when I was a year old and my Mother picked up the pieces without him. We were always first in her mind. I know my Mother wore the same coat for 20 years but my Sister and I had new coats yearly. I’m 50 years old, Married with Children & Grandchildren and she still ask if there is anything I need. Still putting my needs ahead of her own!

  20. I consider my mom EXTREMELY special, bc she is open minded, caring and genuine. Although she comes from a foreign country, VASTLY different then ours, she has allowed me to grow bi-culturally and has respected the differences her and I may have in our views. For that I am grateful, as respect is key in all relationships!

  21. My mom was a breast cancer survivor and throughout her battle, she still remained the graceful, loving, positive and cheerful woman that she is. She is not only a wonderful mother but she is also an amazing nana to her grandkids.
She deserves every special thing and I would love to win this for her!
