This past October 29th was a very special time for us. It was exactly a year after we were blessed with our daughter, Ava.
I wanted to keep her birthday party simple yet “pink & princess-y” of course with just our closest family and friends.
It was surely an occasion never to forget and we will hold dear to our hearts.
I chose to have our main focal point of the party solely on the cake and cupcakes (aside from the Birthday Girl).
The cake, cupcakes and cookies were created by my talented Cake Artist of Bella’s Bon Bon’s and they were such a hit – for their taste buds and visual appeal.
I added a unique and adorable flair to the cupcakes by adding cupcake toppers.
They are a new yet super cute “must-haves” to hit the party planning scene for cupcakes.
Leah from The Design Studio created these lovely toppers for me (as I was short on time), but they are so very easy to create with simple tools: paper, ink, scallop press and lollipop sticks.
I also had matching tags made for the themed Princess/1st Birthday Cookie Favors as an added touch which I wrapped in clear treat bags.
People were also asking me about Ava’s custom top she was wearing.
We created this by purchasing iron-on applique’s from Michael’s Arts & Crafts Store and a simple plain pink long-sleeved onesie from Carter’s.
Coupled with her sheer princess tu-tu and butterfly wings & wand (all purchased from The Party Packagers) our little Butterfly Princess was all set for her Birthday Costume Party (her party fell on Halloween so it was very fitting).
Fantastic Occasion, Perfect Day and Delicious and Memorable Treats!
