After a long, arduous day, there’s nothing we look forward to in this house more than some much needed R&R. Or what we call it in our home Netflix Night

Prior to excitedly becoming a new member of the Netflix Canada #StreamTeam (follow the hashtag on social media for tons of fun updates!), my husband and I use to watch Netflix religiously, even prior to our children being born.

Everything from action to drama to documentaries, there was something we would surely enjoy. I was glad to see that throughout the years to now, there has been such vast improvement in Netflix’s quality of programming. Huge difference from many years back when we first subscribed. Now, all we watch in this house is Netflix! Highly recommend the Roku by the way; it’s heaven-sent (and extremely addictive).

My children have completely monopolized our television when they’re not busy doing other things around the house and outdoors. Especially in this sporadic (and completely kooky Canadian Winter weather) when we’ve been cooped up most times inside the house. If you have (or had) small children, specifically toddlers, you will understand that cabin-fever can be one of the scariest things ever in parenthood. Well, in my case it is.
Thank you, Netflix Canada!

My son is utterly engrossed in Go, Diego, Go!, Dora the Explorer, and Team Umizumi and I am so thankful that Netflix provides tons and tons of old and new episodes. I’m hoping they will start including Ready, Steady, Wiggles because then it would just be total completion for him.

My daughter couldn’t be more elated with the copious amount of kids programming available especially with many shows she currently loves already and also some of which she’s never watched before but own the toys and love like Barbie and Littlest Pet Shop. Families can watch what they want, anytime, anywhere with Netflix and it’s customized according to what you like, what you’ve rated and what you’ve recently watched providing recommendations. Love that!

She has started really enjoying Turbo, a Netlix Original Series.
Turbo is about a speed-obsessed snail, who dreams of being a race car driver and finally gets his chance.
Always a great lesson for children about determination and that nothing is out of grasp if you dream it and believe it (and of course work hard at it!).

Netflix’s first original series for kids launched Christmas last year and became an instant favorite across the world. Turbo and the team are revving their engines for all new episodes from the first season of Turbo FAST, available for streaming on April 4th!
She’s looking forward to it!

Another show that she has watched since she’s been a wee one that we also really love due to it’s faith-based values is Veggie Tales. I really love that they have this available and thrilled to hear that coming this year Veggie Tales in the House is coming out with brand new shows!

One thing that this mom is waiting for are new seasons of Downton Abbey! My current obsession! The beautiful fashion & decor of the early 20th century in England, the charming British accent, lots of juicy drama, historical tidbits… what’s not to love?

There is no shortage of entertainment with Netflix!
Netflix is the world’s leading Internet television network with over 44 million members in more than 40 countries enjoying more than one billion hours of TV shows and movies per month, including original series. For one low monthly price, Netflix members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on nearly any Internet-connected screen. Members can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.
