Tim Hortons’ annual to-go holiday cups have arrived newly dressed for the season and, for the first time, featuring a celebratory hashtag: #WarmWishes.
How absolutely darling are these holiday cups? The distinctly bold, yet cozy, festive sweater design comes in two colours and patterns – festive red with snowflakes and icy blue with polar bears for larger sizes.

My daughter forgot to bring her winter toque today and it may just be one of the coldest days so far into the season… as a mother, this concerned me to no end that I had to stop everything I was doing to drive myself all the way to her school just to drop off her toque.
Can you imagine how many children out there are walking around during the frigid temps with no proper winter gear, especially a warm hat to cover their fragile heads?

Leave it to Tim Hortons to spread the good this holiday season and give to those in need.
To celebrate the new warm and cozy cup, & each time a guest shares a good deed using the #WarmWishes hashtag on Twitter or Instagram, Tim Hortons will pay-it-forward and donate a toque to a child in need through the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. Tim Hortons’ goal is to provide to 10,000 children with a warm and cozy toque.

This is amazing!
I love this initiative so much that I am encouraging my lovely readers to pay-it-forward and to share their good deeds with me and Tim hortons on Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #WarmWishes.
Whether it’s paying for a coffee for the car or two behind you in the drive-thru, gifting your child’s bus driver with a Tims card or shoveling the driveway of a neighbours, I want to hear how you pay-it-forward.
For doing so, you will be in the running to win one in five $25 Tim Hortons Gift Cards.

Simply use the hashtag #WarmWishes when you share your good deed and don’t forget to tag me in on Twitter @CarolAuCourant and/or Instagram @CaresGomez and @TimHortons.

I look forward to seeing you all spread the #WarmWishes this holiday season and onwards.

Stay Warm!

10 Comments on Spread some #WarmWishes for a Good Cause with Tim Hortons

  1. Paying it forward is something that can be done on a daily basis, like smiling and hoping that person will smile at another

  2. I enjoy Tim Hortons and I think the WarmWishes campaign is a good idea,. Helpful to share with others. But what about humility? Not bragging about the good you do. Just doing it.
I kind of wish #warmwishes was about bragging about what good others do, not ourselves.
Does anyone else think this? Please tell me I’m not the only one.

    • This is an interesting POV, Nicole. I think it would be wonderful to hear about what others do for us as well.
I think the main point of this initiative is to encourage others to pay-it-forward when they can and spread the goodness, not in a bragging obnoxious way, but genuinely. We also hope it encourages others when they see others around them paying it forward.
Feel free to share the good others do for you with the #warmwishes hashtag — it’s also a nice encouragement.
At the end of the day, this is meant to be a positive campaign and hopefully builds a strong emotional contagion.
