Taste the Season is Niagara-on-the-Lake’s must-do event in November!
Tour over 20 distinctive wineries sampling holiday-inspired foods paired with fine VQA wines. Your touring passport provides access to each of Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s member wineries – Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in November. Celebrate the season’s bounty!
The cost for each touring pass is $45 (taxes and fees not included) and entitles you, the holder, to one VQA wine tasting and food pairing at each of Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s member wineries and is valid November 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, and 24-26 – 11am to 5pm.
NOTL is one of my favourite places to get away and enjoy some great wine, food and scenery whether it’s with my husband or with friends. Taste the Season is the perfect time to sample amazing VQA wines along with their delicious food pairings for a really good price.
Examples of what you can expect to indulge in:
- 2016 FRESH Riesling Gewurztraminer (W, O, L) paired with butternut squash gnocchi at the Lakeview Wine Co.
- 2015 Canada 150 Select Late Harvest Vidal (W,O) – limited edition paired with a cinnamon candied pecan crusted pumpkin cookie at Pillitteri Estates Winery
- 2012 “Conversation” Pinot Noir (W, O) paired with vegan Banh Mi Sliders on focaaccia at Small Talk Vineyards
- 2016 Trius Chardonnay (W, O, L) paired with fresh and smoked salmon cones, crème fraiche, pickled red onion, dill pumpernickel soil at Trius Winery & Restaurant
… and many more!
Who else is hungry? These sound absolutely delightful! Cheers!
