In the age of Instagram and Snapchat, there’s no filter needed when you’ve got fantastic skin (or at least amazing makeup!).

The Estée Edit is one of my newest beauty favourites to hit the market.  Launched early this year, the Estée Edit is a a brand created with a whole new approach to the younger, modern consumer, the Millennial beauty lover.  It was developed by the beauty veterans behind Estée Lauder and the mecca for Millennial beauty lovers, Sephora.

From their paint splash of cobalt blue design to their muses (Irene Kim and Kendall Jenner), the Estée Edit features a broad collection of mostly makeup and some skin care.  The price point is a little more on the pricier side, especially for the younger millennials to afford to be quite honest, but after trying out a few of their products, they’re definitely worthy of praise and purchase.

Three of my newest favourites are part of their Guest Editor collection which are items selected by Jenner and Kim.

The first is the Flash Photo Powder – a translucent, sheer blue-hued finishing powder that brightens skin instantly!  Perfect for the social-media selfie takers!

I found this powder to really do what it says with brightening your look and it helps a lot with reducing shine.  It was great for under eye shine! From what I’ve heard from a friend with oilier skin that raved about this powder, it worked well for me too considering I have drier skin!  It’s fantastic for setting your makeup.  The only downside is that given the price point, it did not include a brush.

The Flash Powder retails for $40.00 at Sephora.

The perfect makeup prep sidekick to instantly make your skin look gorgeous is the Estée Edit’s Pore Vanishing Stick.  If you’re a makeup junkie like me, you’ve definitely tried a plethora of pore primers, this one is yet another to add to that list.  And just may perhaps be your new go-to.

An easy, glide-on stick to blur the look of pores and minimize shine and oil, you can use alone, as a primer, or over makeup any time of day.  I found that it definitely did blur out my pores especially around problematic or more prevalent areas of my face such as my nose, forehead and chin, however it didn’t completely diminish them.  A big difference though when used with makeup!  It offers a nice matte finish and helps foundation stay on longer and I LOVE the stick application.

For $34.00 at Sephora, it’s a good buy!

And what’s better than perfectly flawless makeup?  Glowing skin!

Wake up to refreshed and healthy-looking skin with the Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack, a water-gel mask enriched with fruit and flower extracts, antioxidants, and mega hydration to smooth, brighten, and revitalize skin while you sleep.

So I didn’t notice much brightening power when I wake up, but it did balance my combination skin. I have dry parts on my face but an oilier T-zone during the summer and after using, I wake up with silkier skin.  It also smells nice and not overpowering (although some reviewers have said it’s too strong which I have to disagree with).  It absorbs really well and definitely a nice moisturizing treat, especially during the winter when skin tends to get drier.  I would recommend this product for those with more drier skin.

I’m not a fan of the price point for the size, but I’ve been only using for 3 days so I will see how it fares after exclusive use every day for a week.  So far, so good!

The Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack retails for $58 (1.7oz) at Sephora.
